why oh why Brighton




How it will work.

The project will be housed in a One Armed Bandit slot machine 
The arm of the machine will work to spin the three reels


 The first reel will have the face of the person who has been interviewed.

The second reel will have the symbol relating to the reason why the person relocated to Brighton.

The third will have a map reference of where the person came from. (may not have come from UK)

If the person does not discuss where they have come from, and only has a reason for leaving,
the map will be replaced  with something like a stick of rock or some other seaside related imagery.

The inner workings of the machine can be achieved in two ways,
One is to use a Phidget interface kit and a distance measuring sensor.

The second method is to re-wire a mouse and use it control the arm and the enter button of the machine.  

The second method would simplify the machine leaving more time to concentrate on the flash element of the project.

I want this experience to be fun for the user but also to inform people.
